Win Rate

Win rate is the percentage of rounds in which a player successfully cashes out before the multiplier crashes, expressed as the number of winning bets divided by total bets placed, multiplied by 100.

In crash gambling, win rate is closely tied to the cashout target you set. The lower the multiplier you aim for, the more often you will cash out successfully — but each win returns less profit. For example, if you always target 1.5×, you might win roughly 60–65% of rounds. If you chase 10×, your win rate could drop below 10%. Neither a high nor a low win rate alone tells you whether a strategy is profitable; it must be weighed against the size of your average win and average loss.

A concrete example: suppose you play 100 rounds targeting 2× and cash out successfully in 48 of them. Your win rate is 48%. If you bet $1 each round, you collect $2 on wins and lose $1 on losses — giving you $96 in returns against $100 staked. Despite nearly half your rounds being winners, you are still at a net loss. This illustrates why win rate alone is not a reliable measure of a strategy’s edge.

The key caveat with optimising for win rate is the temptation to set very low cashout targets to inflate your success percentage. While this feels safer, it compresses your margins and a single bad streak can erase many small gains. Chasing a high win rate through aggressive auto-cashout settings does not eliminate risk — it redistributes it. Always consider expected value alongside your win rate when evaluating any strategy.

Tracking your win rate over a statistically meaningful sample — at minimum several hundred rounds — gives a clearer picture of how a strategy performs rather than judging it on a short session where variance dominates.
